Black and White Boudoir Photography
You have a story to tell, let’s capture it in authentic intimate portraits that are bound to be artful, editorial and worthy of displaying in a gallery.
Remember the high contrast black and white images in Guess Jeans Campaigns of the 80’s and 90’s? like many photographers, my obsession began in high school developing black and white photographs in the darkroom. From film to print, I worked with old fashioned enlargers and photo developing chemicals.
I was inspired by Ellen Von Unworth, the photographer who captured the ultimate in sensual femininity through black and white photography, which included iconic images of Claudia Schiffer, Anna Nicole Smith, and Shana Zadrick. I was obsessed then and for me it hasn’t stopped. I love capturing the beauty within that comes out in the form of a pout, sexy gaze (which I will help you with) or the curves of a woman’s body.
Although most of the inspiration for my boudoir and glamour photography comes from clients and their individuality, I am still driven creatively by fashion editorials, like covers of Vanity Fair and Harper’s Bazaar.
Clients that ask for black and white boudoir portraits are shown which images would look best in monochrome during their purchasing session. We then convert some of your color images to our signature grayscale tones to give your album a range of looks.
