Every boudoir session has its surprises, but this one was truly unforgettable. One of my clients had fallen in love with the front door of my studio and asked if we could take a few photos there. Just as she was striking her pose, a delivery truck pulled up for a scheduled pickup.
It wasn’t our usual delivery driver; it was someone brand new to pick up a heavy photography equipment we were returning. And of course, the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. My client, always up for a little fun, opened the door wide and asked if he would be part of the shot. To our surprise, he said yes!
We quickly improvised. Our assistant grabbed another box since our petite client couldn’t pick up the original box, and suddenly it turned into a staged “package exchange” with my client. The whole thing had everyone laughing, and the photos captured a spontaneous and playful energy.
Several weeks later, we got a DM from Alex, the delivery driver himself. He said he couldn’t figure out why he was suddenly following us on Instagram until he remembered his unexpected modeling debut in front of the door. With my client’s permission, I shared some of the photos with him and created this ridiculous blog post.
